HRCT Chest in Patient of COVID-19 Pneumonia at a tertiary College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Nepal

Background: COVID19 pneumonia is caused by novel corona virus. The HRCT chest helpful in identification of COVID-19 Pneumonia. CT play a crucial role assessing the pattern manifestation and severity lung involvement COVID-19. objective this study to described high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) findings Pneumonia patients college medical sciences Bharatpur Nepal. Method: A prospective, Chest were analaysed 375 patients. Patients with CORADS score suspicious for further tested positive PCR examination. was done year period time Result: total suspected HRCT, 341 positive. mean age affected viral 51.9 (51-60 group). male 240 female 135. Ground glass opacities noted 188 patients, followed GGO consolidation 177, consolidations only 7 others 3 Conclusion: can help early detection COVID-pneumonia. It also asses percentages disease that guide physician.
